GRAVESEND'S BOAT MUSEUM

This project looked at how I could bring the boating community in Gravesend together. The idea for the project came when I visited Gravesend for the first time and noticed how many docks there were. These docks were abandoned however and the I decided that my project would revive the boating community and encourage them to get on their boat's again and show them off. My Museum consisted of hanging boats that people could walk under to experience the craftsmanship that was put into making each boat, a technical workshop for people to fix their own ships, and a dock for people to show off their boats.
